Fulfilled or Not Fulfilled?
Matthew 24:34 - Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Did Jesus fulfill this prophecy because Caiphas died and didn't see this happen yet. This one even CS Lewis could not explain away. Please help me understand this scripture.

This passage has not yet been fulfilled. Jesus is speaking of the fig tree. The fig tree is a picture of Israel. The generation Jesus is speaking of is the generation that will be alive when Israel is established as a nation (May 14, 1948). This is the reference of the fig tree's blossoming. Some of this generation will still be alive when these prophecies are fulfilled, the second coming of Christ. Thus saying, this is a prophetic passage showing the nearness of the Second Coming of Christ.
