Mark 9:29
“By prayer and fasting” is the reading of the great majority of Greek manuscripts and of four of the fifth century, Codex Alexandrinus, Codex Ephraemi, Codex Bezae, and Codex Washingtonianus, and Codex Sinaiticus as corrected. The Old Latin and the Vulgate have it, and Tregelles and the Tyndale House Greek New Testament print it.
The King James Bible
